Hi, I found a guide on how to downpatch Doom Eternal. It was on Reddit about 4 years ago posted by username: DattusB. Is that the guide to follow to downpatch in 2024?
Haven't done it before as I was always playing this game on console but now I got hold of it on Steam and don't want to go through the steps if that guide is outdated.
Appreciate any elite-studmuffin Doom runners to chime in here with their sage knowledge.

there's a dedicated downpatcher for doom eternal - https://github.com/mcdalcin/DoomEternalDownpatcher/releases/tag/1.8 as it says on the github page, discord's the best place to troubleshoot it in case you get stuck.
Thank you it was simple and fast plus I found a macro that seems to work. It's enjoyable jumping around everywhere and exploring in OG Eternal. Thank you again.
A month ago, it was brought to our attention that the full collection of codexes, which is required for the campaign 100% and 100% Natural Masteries categories, is not possible with our current rules. For example, the extra lives tutorial codex cannot be acquired in the Ultra-Nightmare difficulty. T
