Curiosity about Misc Categories

From my knowledge, YouTube only allows up to 10 hours of recordings to be posted inside of a single video, but some of the Misc categories (All unlocks, though, I think can be done easily under 10 hours) seem to require more time than 10 hours, so how would one go about showing proof of these types of runs? Would it be allowed to have a multiple video on youtube 'proof'?

Is one allowed to pause the timer, and then come back after for instance a day has transpired? And if not, how would anyone even know, given that the recordings are segmented?

Normally this isn't allowed for most speedruns because it opens to the door to cheaters, for instance, if you do allow the above, it'd be very easy to just reset the speedrun timer back to what you paused it on, and try again, essentially segmenting as much as you want, but it also seems to be unavoidable for these categories.

I'm mostly just curious, the categories seem like a gauntlet to go for, not even really considering attempting them, but is part of the misc. nature of them, that they can't be completed? (At least, with video proof showed in a continuous segment)

You are allowed to submit a playlist of videos instead of a single video. If you submit 15 hours of contiguous Balatro footage the first question is not going to be one of cheating but one of if you need to use the restroom or get some water. If people are looking to do some really time-intensive runs and want more clarity, feel free to contact the mods. Once we have a better sense of the sort of time scales we are looking at I think we might want to implement a break system of some sort so that people can pause their runs within reason and maintain the integrity of their run while also taking care of their health. Ideally, if the runs could be completed within the span of a day, we would require submission of footage of your entire attempt, even when the timer is paused. For now, as these categories are not realistic goals for most runners, the mods have more relevant things to attend to.

Thanks for your question, and don't hesitate to reach out if I didn't make something clear enough.

I think this is where it would start to be helpful to actually stream face- and handcam, since if you have proof of needing to use the restroom, get water, sleep, etc. you could easily get video proof of yourself doing so (through your absence and lack of system input).

While I'm not a mod and can't give 100% verified advice, the above seems reasonable enough to be accepted in the longer categories. Good luck ElunedsSong, aassd, and others!
